NeLCM Pentecost Pilgrimage 2015

This May students from Nebraska Lutheran Campus Ministry from Campus Lutheran and the Lutheran Center traveled to Taize, France to spend some time in the Taize Community. They traveled to Paris and spent a day enjoying the sights and sounds of the City of Light. For the next week, the students were in the community of Taize spending time in reflection, bible study, prayer, silence, and practical work. New friends were made from all over the world including France, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand, Korea, and many other countries. There were several moments of complete openness between all our students and their new friends. Everyone who went came back with something from Taize; routine, new prayers, new songs, and a new sense of self.
